The Patient, whose name is currently unknown, is the protagonist of Nightmare Reaper that is controlled by the player.

Background

Theoretically, she is suffering from some sort of mental disorder (most likely she either has some sort of trauma or schizophrenia). She is in a psychiatric ward where, by day, she is cooped up in a little cell filled with scrawlings on the walls and mysterious notes that detail ominous experiments. She has nightmares of killing enemies, and those nightmares end if she dies in them, but otherwise, she could have them again once she goes to bed.

At some point, there was a physician who had failed to improve her condition and had managed to get rid of her for dubious reasons.

Looks

She appears to be a fairly tall and skinny woman with black hair and red eyes. She is only wearing a hospital gown.
