Achievements

Achievements in Nightmare Reaper can be unlocked in each save game. Unlocking every achievement yields a reward in either gold, jade or topaz, with the amount generally corresponding to how hard it is to get.

Steam achievements are a superset of all save game achievements in the Steam account. They serve no purpose other than bragging rights.

	The behavior of keeping a weapon picked up during death animation was considered a bug in Early Access, until it was canonized as a feature in v1.0.
	Bold and Brash	Change a stat to +2 attacks	50,000	?
	The most fail-proof way of getting this achievement is using the "Reroll" offer from the Dr. Friend on "+1 attack". It might take several tries to get this to work. The chance is approximately 20%. You can improve your chances of meeting doc by taking the "positive event chance" pills.

	Weapons grow in price the longer you keep them, so pick a favorite weapon and hold onto it. Upgrading weapon price in Skill Tree also helps.

	Sell a weapon to Dr. Friend and then die before reaching exit. The name of this achievement references the movie Hardcore Henry, where the protagonist often fights empty-handed or with improvised weapons. "Pat" is a fandom-coined nickname for the Patient.

	You can speed up your progression through powerup achievements by equipping the Soul pet with Powerup Creation ability. During Early Access, there was a bug with low life Nightmare Reaper states also counting for the purpose of this achievement. This bug was fixed, as it was deemed too easy to rack up the counter this way.
